Our materials
Three materials, three clear roles
Each material is chosen for a specific job. We state what it does well and where it has limits.
Plant starches
Derived from renewable plant sources and designed to break down under suitable composting conditions. Used where a lightweight, food-grade format is needed.
Natural jute
A durable plant fiber that is strong enough for repeated reuse. Its longevity during use is what keeps it out of the waste stream.
Unbleached kraft
Chosen without bleaching, so its color and fiber stay as they come from the source. A paper-based option for sustainable packaging.
Our conviction
Everyday utility and ecological responsibility belong in the same product.
A product that is useful but wasteful is only half a solution. We judge each item by how long it serves and how responsibly it is made.
